The end was just really the killer for me absolutely made no sense.. up to that it was good story but end totally ruined it

Amazing book. Loved it. It felt familiar yet unknown at the same time, like I could relate to Lucy but yet had no idea how it was going to work out.
Very well written and looking forward to the next book.

This isn’t my normal read but I fancied something different and I’m so happy I chose to read it x I was instantly intrigued, found myself needing to read more x The character’s are instantly like able and I genuinely began to care for them both x I’ve laughed and cried throughout this story, the heartbreak, the love and sadness it’s a brilliant twisted dark love story that I really enjoyed and has opened my world up to this kind of genre of books x I could honestly see this as a film it’s brilliant!! Off to find another one of Emma Scott’s stories already missing Kas and Lucy x

Another beautiful, tender exploration of love and loss from the talented Emma Scott. This pnr story gripped me, enhanced by the excellent narration skills of Caitlin Kelly and Zachary Johnson. Wonderful listen 💖💖💖💖💖

A story of two people who fell in love centuries ago and find each other again, Lucy a lonely woman living a life with nothing and no one. Caz is a demon beyond help unless he can find love with a human on the other side of the veil
The two meet in the most hopeless of situations but become drawn into each other. When it is apparent that the Demons who still want to punish Caz are not going to let him go and threaten both his and Lucy's happiness she decides to stand up and fight for her love. This is an amazing story, a love that survives so much only to be lost time and again. Will love truly conquer all. Listen to find out.
