Summary

In book one, we established the idea that language is an essential aspect of the human condition and provided you with the basics for learning some conversational Chinese. In book two, we expand upon this by introducing you to other aspects of grammar that may not have been previously covered.

Like its predecessor, this audiobook contains a lexicon of some of the most used words in everyday Chinese conversation. It makes use of the age-old learning techniques of repetition and rote memorization, to condition the brain for learning Chinese as quickly as possible. In addition, an auxiliary feature called story mode has been included to aid the listener in a test for comprehension.

And so, from the beautiful city of Beijing, the city of love and all things fashionable, we present to you The Simple Way to Learn Chinese 2.

If you’re learning Chinese, then buy it!

The Chinese practice audible is indeed easy to follow. The author added some exercises to practice and memorize what you learned. Great for any level learner.

love it!

This is a great intro audible for me. I bought a pentel arts calligraphy brush pen to practice with. That pen does bleed through the pages a little, but it's just a practice audible so that doesn't bother me.

Great audible to learn Mandarin from!

I took a Chinese class when I was young and struggled. Then today this audible helped me a lot. Easier than what my teacher taught me. I would recommend this audible to anyone interested in learning/writing Chinese.

Comprehensive

Helpful in remembering as one would be able to practice it. The stories are a good way to home the learning of the Chinese language and to enhance love for literature.

Very simple

I've read a lot of language Guide Books but this is by far one of the best. The most important thing is that it is very simple and easy to follow -

Practical and aesthetic

As an introduction to practical, conversational Chinese, this is excellent. The bonus is that it also gives you a hint of the deeper aesthetic dimensions through classical poems, accessible even for beginners.

Exactly what I was looking for

This audible is perfect for the beginning. I am slowly going through each exercise and enjoy the design and all the little facts that are placed to help you learn about the language and why the characters are the way they are.

Chinese teacher says it's a good audible

My 14-year-old daughter takes Chinese in school and was motivated to try to learn more at home. Her teacher said it's an excellent audible. I like that it helps you learn the characters, words, and meanings.

quite entertaining

I do think that people that listen to this audible should know a little about Chinese pronunciation, it shows you the words but it doesn't tell you how to pronounce them.
