1831: Assigned to a good family in Sydney town and now learning the art of tattoo, convict girl Harrie Clarke is still haunted by the horror of the brutal murder she, Friday Woolfe and Sarah Morgan committed the previous year. Powerful and vindictive criminal Bella Jackson continues to demand money in exchange for her silence regarding their crime. And when things go from bad to much, much worse for Harrie, she is left teetering on the brink.©2014 Deborah Challinor (P)2015 W.F. Howes Ltd Contemporary Genre Fiction Historical Fiction

Would you try another book written by Deborah Challinor or narrated by Helen Duff?

The narration, the historical facts and most of the story

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Sparked interest to do some research with a view to writing

Which scene did you most enjoy?

We are given a real feel for Australia during this period. It is all brought to life through the story and characters' actions

Could you see The Silk Thief being made into a movie or a TV series? Who would the stars be?

the narration was spot on, couldn't fault her,

Any additional comments?

This was the third book about these characters and I was left at the end slightly disappointed as there were loose ends regarding some of the story, not sure if this is because we are waiting for another book in this series

A little disappointing
