"It's been a long time, Grant."

Convicted serial killer Dennis Pullman has been held in a top security prison for ten years but now three women have been kidnapped and somehow he seems to be behind them as he calls for one time detective, Chase Grant, to join his game and save the captives - it he can. He has twelve hours.

Short, just three and three quarter hours, of non stop excitement with scenarios as well as characterisation to hold the reader's attention. The ending leaves open the possibility of a sequel.
Narration is by Gwendolyn Druyor. Although excellent in many other presentations and she does give a very reasonable performance here, sadly she was wrong for this book where the story mostly calls for male voices. Why, I wonder, this obsession to have a female reader whatever the story might suggest? It is not 'equality', just foolishness.

My thanks to the rights holder who,at my request, freely gifted me with a complimentary copy via free Audiobook Codes. Recommended to all who enjoy fast paced psychological crime thrillers.
