The overall story line is actually quite good. The characters are interesting and work well together. My own issue is i felt the F leading character was at times too wingy. Her thoughts were not always helpful to hear. Listen and decide for yourself, this is just my POV.

Honestly enjoyed listening to these books. New to audible this book set was a great introduction and I enjoyed the story throughout.

FMC in first book is wery nice, good character for romance but the longer the story goes and more fighting events happen and characters that should be trained warriors act like fools. They speak about making plans for war but time flies and they get nowhere, really everything happens almost by accident. All the time almost everyone is sure that they will fail, but there is no effort to actually do something active only reactions to what enemies does and so much whining but in the end it is so simple. Romance is ok in this, I like that many characters found love, but all other things are so-so down to horrible. Performance was good, but if not for good first book I would drop this story in the beginning.

The main character is supposed to be a vampire princess who is highly trained but she’s rather pathetic and irritating. The only saving grace is the narrator does a good job with what she has!
