The overall story line is actually quite good. The characters are interesting and work well together. My own issue is i felt the F leading character was at times too wingy. Her thoughts were not always helpful to hear. Listen and decide for yourself, this is just my POV.

Honestly enjoyed listening to these books. New to audible this book set was a great introduction and I enjoyed the story throughout.

This was not one of my favourite reads. To be honest I found myself rolling my eyes at many scenes. I am a hopeless romantic and I really didn’t feel the build up of love when the main characters feel for each other. The Zar and the first Alpha were so powerful yet I was not convinced of that. The line “something felt off” was overused. I think the disappointment started in the 3rd book as the story just started loosing structure and the main characters kept falling for the same trick. I understand these are 18 year olds but it just became less and less convincing.

There are better shifter stories just my opinion.

FMC in first book is wery nice, good character for romance but the longer the story goes and more fighting events happen and characters that should be trained warriors act like fools. They speak about making plans for war but time flies and they get nowhere, really everything happens almost by accident. All the time almost everyone is sure that they will fail, but there is no effort to actually do something active only reactions to what enemies does and so much whining but in the end it is so simple. Romance is ok in this, I like that many characters found love, but all other things are so-so down to horrible. Performance was good, but if not for good first book I would drop this story in the beginning.
