Thirty-five beautiful girls. Thirty-five beautiful rivals…

It’s the chance of a lifetime and 17-year-old America Singer should feel lucky. She has been chosen for The Selection, a reality TV lottery in which the special few compete for gorgeous Prince Maxon’s love.

Swept up in a world of elaborate gowns, glittering jewels and decadent feasts, America is living a new and glamorous life. And the prince takes a special interest in her, much to the outrage of the others.

Rivalry within The Selection is fierce and not all of the girls are prepared to play by the rules. But what they don’t know is that America has a secret – one which could throw the whole competition… and change her life forever.

My teenage daughter loved the books of the Selection Series and was definitely not disappointed by the audiobooks! great adaptation and although the narration can be a little annoying at times, the different voices are clear enough and add to the story.

Great

I had read the book before and it is a harmless dystopian romance but the reader honestly sounds a bit like ai. I don’t know, it is something in her voice that is really flat

Good book but not sure about the reader

....but i got used to it.

i like the story regardless of tbe narration. 'hunger games meets the bachelor' is what i daw on reviews before and it is the perfect way to describe this series. its a cute dystopian romantic comedy and very easy listening/reading.

narration was a bit robotic...

I enjoyed the second book in the series and found it very difficult to stop reading or listening. I liked reading as the story continued and the love triangle continued. I loved reading about America and Maxon and found myself wanting the next time they would meet and America would realise her true feelings for Maxon. I did find America a bit annoying at times as she seemed to keep dragging them both along a bit too much. I found it was also a great book as you start to learn alot more about the other girls in the selection.
It was a great book cannot wait to continue in the series and find out what happens next. Xxx
