Summary
Eeny, meeny, miny, mo.
I've got a secret you don't know.
Caiden Cavendish is under my skin. The Four have switched from being my enemies to my closest friends.
But not everything has changed. Two truths remain.... My life is still in danger, and my mother is hiding something.
So many questions, and no answers.
What secrets lie buried in Alstone?
The lies, the secrets, they'll come undone.
I'm the monster you can't outrun.
Note - This book is not a standalone, and should be listened to after The Lies We Tell.

Picks Up Right Where It Left Us
itle: The Secrets We Hide
Author: Becca Steele
Format: Audio
Narrator: Gregory Salinas, Kelli Tager
Genre: Romantic Suspense, college bully, enemies to lovers, stepbrother
Standalone: No - ends in a cliffhanger
Part of a Series: The Four book 2
POV: Caiden, Winter
Steam Level: Steam
5/5
The Secrets we Hide starts right where The Lies We Tell ends and ends on a ginormous cliffhanger as well. The mystery is ramping up with some answers found that lead to even more questions. I like the push and pull between Caiden and Winter, with Caiden fighting himself. This series is great. I love the mix of action, suspense and steam. However Becca Steele also knows how to weave in scenes that lower the tension and give you a chance to breathe.
I received this audiobook for free from Audiobook Obsession and Pink Flamingo Productions. This is my honest and voluntary review.

I listened to the first one and it was absolutely intense and amazing. So i went into this one with high hopes, and I am so happy to announce that this book was even better than I hoped for. The amount of tension and suspense that this book has makes this the kind of book you don’t want to turn off. The narration was spot on, with fantastic pacing, voices and emotions.

Great Second Story in Series
I received this audiobook free for an honest review as a member of Pink Flamingo Productions review team. You need to listen to the first book in order to follow this second book. "The Four" rule the college and the new girl is a hated outsider. The new girl, Winter, enters the picture as the stepsister of two of "The Four". This story keeps you on the edge of your seat with a mystery, young romance, Russian mafia and drugs. What role does Winter's mother play in this mystery? How can Winter find out who killed her father? Looking forward to the next story. The narrators did a great job with the characters and their personalities and the overall story.

Fantastic!
In a plot rife with secrets and betrayals, it’s the very real attraction between Cade and Winter that makes everything that happens worth it. There’s a lot going on but the story still manages to focus on the overarching connections between the characters and their present, past, and future.
There is great character growth and the secondary characters are used effectively to progress the story. Prose is excellent. I cannot wait to learn more about West, Cass, and Z.
Narration was outstanding!

Secrets and Lies
This is book 2 of The Four series. It is not a standalone and does end in a big cliffhanger. It is fast-paced and intense and takes you on a rollercoaster ride full of twists and turns. I can't wait to see what happens next as Winter and Caiden's story continues in The Havoc We Wreak which hopefully comes out on audio soon. Kelli Tager and Gregory Salinas both do an amazing job bringing this story to life.

Absolutely loved it
I Absolutely enjoyed The Secrets We Hide. The storyline is suspense and I couldn’t stop listening to this audiobook. The Secrets we Hide is the second book in The Four series. It’s a dark bully college suspense romance with a forbidden enemies to lovers. Winter has proven in this book that she is completely loyal to the guys. But she remains stubborn and takes risks only to discover the truth about her father’s death.Caiden showed me a vulnerable side to him that made him grow a place in my heart. His love for Winter knows no bounds and he has shown countless times that he is willing to do anything for her to protect her.Winter and Caiden’s relationship is still forbidden but their bound has become even stronger after countless obstacles they’ve passed. The narrated have done an outstanding job bringing the characters to life and telling the story. I highly recommend everyone to give this book a chance.

The Secrets We Hide
This is the second book in The Four series. Winter and The Four have teamed up to dig up dirt and uncover the truth about Winter's dad's death. They are also trying to figure out what Winter's mom is really up to as well. This book does end on a cliffhanger. Can't wait to start the next book. Kelli Tager and Gregory Salinas did a fabulous job narrating.

What secrets will we discover
Finding Winter is top priority, once she returns at the hospital, there are more questions than answers.
What will happen with Winter & Cade?
What will the Four find?
Who is behind it all?
Absolutely amazing, and another edge of your seat story with a major cliffhanger
