Summary

WARNING: some listeners may find this content offensive.

Evesdrop on the bizarre, surprising and very secret lives of public people who have been caught unaware by the microphone.

An excellent impressionist show with Jon Culshaw and other masters of the art, all about politicians and celebs caught unawares. Jon Culshaw was one of the stars of the Dead Ringers Radio and TV Series.

More than worth a listen

Excellent series with many topical references and stars of the moment, I still listen to it on a very regular basis, once is NEVER enough. Looking forward to the next release very much.

My favourite audio book

A really clever fly on the wall style of spoof documentary. A bizarre world of famous people and their surreal behaviours. Each episode covers a day, and many of the stories share references to other events in the same day, so there is plenty of details you pick up on repeated listening. Just wish you could get hold of series 2, as I heard series 2 on the radio which was so fantastic I signed up to audio books because it was the only copy I could find.... PLEASE RELEASE SERIES 2

Very funny indeed.

Brilliant impersonations of John Humphrys as a grumpy old man, Bob Geldof and a spoilt Sloaney brat Peaches, Bill Gates and others. A very funny and clever script. I can highly recommend it.

very clever, very funny

Would you consider the audio edition of The Secret World to be better than the print version?

I really enjoyed these series of audio books, very funny and very true in lots of ways. Great to poke fun at humans and their characteristics! I really enjoy dramatizations, and this was an excellent example of how added sound effects takes you right into the story.

What did you like best about this story?

It kept me enthralled.

What does Jon Culshaw bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Character in his voice
