About this listen

An all-new meet-cute sports romance from New York Times and Wall Street Journal best-selling author Kristen Proby, featuring Sophie Montgomery!

I have millions of followers on social media, and it has absolutely nothing to do with my last name. It’s because I’m good at what I do. I work hard, and it has paid off. I’m not a trainer who only talks the talk, either. I walk the walk—or rather, I run the run. It was actually during one of those jogs through the park that I ran into him.

Of course, at the time, I didn’t realize it was the Isaiah “Ike” Harrison, Seattle’s hot new quarterback. All I knew was that I was suddenly pinned under some solid, sexy body, unable to breathe.

But even now, I keep running into Ike in the most unexpected places. And he’s doing everything in his power to convince me that he’s not just a player—in any form of the word. It’s so much more than that.

But I’ve been there, done that. I have the mended broken heart to prove it and have no intention of doing it again.

Except the frustrating man is convincing, and my walls are quickly lowering—especially when I feel responsible for possibly upending his career.

Is letting him in a mistake? Or will it be the best thing I’ve ever done?

I’m loving the Single In Seattle series. I really enjoy reading these stories, it’s like catching up with friends and family. The narration is excellent as always, the characters are brought to life wonderfully. I loved how Ike and Sophie met, it was quite funny. I loved how Sophie took a negative experience in her life and turned it into something so positive that it helps not only herself but others. I hated Ike’s dad and I’m so happy with how he dealt with him. I loved the ending of the book, I’m not saying more as I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t read the book but I’m delighted that someone got their well deserved comeuppance. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in this series. I absolutely love it. I wonder which cousin is next???

Sophie and Ike. Another great lovestory in the series.
I already love the whole family.

When Sophie and Ike ran into each other, literally, they are immediately attracted to each other. When they meet again the same day, it clicks and so their lovestory begins.

I love that Ike didn't come from a famous family and that Sophie had her troubles too. But they managed to make it through everything.

Great story with great narration.
