Habit busting and building goes way beyond becoming a dedicated flosser or never showing up late again - our habits reveal our unmet desires, the gaps in our boundaries, our level of self-awareness and our unconscious beliefs and fears.

Summary
Originally published in 1910, this audiobook takes the mystery out of the accumulation of wealth and breaks it down into a scientific formula.
Here is an excerpt from the Preface of the audiobook:
This book is pragmatical, not philosophical; a practical manual, not a treatise upon theories. It is intended for the men and women whose most pressing need is for money; who wish to get rich first, and philosophize afterward. It is for those who have, so far, found neither the time, the means, nor the opportunity to go deeply into the study of metaphysics, but who want results and who are willing to take the conclusions of science as a basis for action, without going into all the processes by which those conclusions were reached.
It is expected that the listener will take the fundamental statements upon faith, just as he would take statements concerning a law of electrical action if they were promulgated by a Marconi or an Edison; and, taking the statements upon faith, that he will prove their truth by acting upon them without fear or hesitation. Every man or woman who does this will certainly get rich; for the science herein applied is an exact science, and failure is impossible...
...In writing this audiobook I have sacrificed all other considerations to plainness and simplicity of style, so that all might understand. The plan of action laid down herein was deduced from the conclusions of philosophy; it has been thoroughly tested, and bears the supreme test of practical experiment: It works...and if you wish to reap the fruits of their philosophies in actual practice, listen to this book and do exactly as it tells you to do.

Awesome narration of an all time great book
If you could sum up The Science of Getting Rich in three words, what would they be?
This book is an awesome book and an all time great however you'll not really get what he is saying if you're not at least in the process of spiritual awakening. When you read this book purely from the ego you will not really get the message, even if you think you did. I read it twice previously and thought I understood its contents. But I have been doing some work on spiritual awakening lately with meditation etc. and when I read the book again I was blown away with how different the message was compared to how I saw it before.
What does Brian Holsopple bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
Brilliant narrator. I actually had another audible audio version of this book gotten years ago but had to get this one again by Brian Holsopple because of his brilliant narration of another book - As A Man Thinketh.
Any additional comments?
IMO the book's message only opens up to you after spiritually awakening or when you're at least in the process of spiritual awakening and now able to differentiate your real self from your ego.

A definite must read
This book explained my journey. I received a deep understanding of why I received things when I did and why lost the things I had. We are created beings. We are all created with the power & ability to create. Our words have power. Our heart content is the catalyst. This book is founded on biblical principles. It must not be ignored. Our Heavenly Father’s desire is for us to live an abundant life and to draw people closer to Him by displaying the fulfilment we have in Him. Well written & well read. My advice follow the instructions in this book. I Highly recommend it.

A book to study and not just read
For this book, I decided to study it and not just read it/listen to it. So the approach is that I will set the first hour of my day to study this book. For each day, I will take one chapter and listen to the same chapter 5 to 6 times. I also have the ebook and I was following the text with my eyes while I was listening. I then spend some time to write notes of what I understood from the chapter. I must say that this book is deep and require to be carefully studied. I have reconfirmed some ideas that I already had and helped me to structure my process. I highly recommend it if you are into contemplating. I would rename this book to "The process of thinking and acting to get rich"
