Summary

Summer, 1803: the uneasy peace with France is over, and Britain has once more been plunged into the turmoil of war. After a spell on the beach, Sir Richard Banks is appointed to HMS Prometheus, a 74 gun line-of-battleship which an eager admiralty loses no time in ordering to sea. Wish there were more on audible

I was thoroughly immersed, and am enjoying this series so much. I was rooting for the heroes and love the ‘just desserts’ ending.

good book well read.

An interesting story with a number of plot lines. The narrator grows on you after the first chapter.
