The narrator's performance transforms a good story into a really good one. Definitely a keeper.

I am a huge fan of the Agatha Raisin books and so decided to try this one. Glad I didn’t live in Regency England, where a woman was often reduced to being no more than a commodity to be sold to the highest bidder, and then subject to her husband’s‘peculiarities’. The two main characters were very likeable, though
