Summary

How could it have come to this?

Five milksops sticking to her heels like horse manure. On a ship with a captain who cannot be trusted. On a voyage into the heart of enemy territory, teeming with cutthroats. In search of a lost legend that could vanish into thin air like a camel fart.

Time is crying out for change. A mysterious parchment finally leads Karek and his companions to their destination. But what they find there knows no laws, no faith, no mercy…

Love it

Another great story with excellent characters and twists at every turn.
The narration is generally good but I don’t understand how he gets some pronunciation so weirdly wrong ‘plates’ not plats for plaits?
And what is the colum for calm or polum for palm? I can see that semi is pronounced semeye as perhaps an American pronunciation but Daniel has a quasi British accent.
A bit of correction from the editor perhaps?
Look forward to episode 4 …..quickly if possible.

Another great tale!

Another great tale from Sam in a story that’s slowly developing, with numerous plot twists. Can’t wait to hear more. The story is narrated well, and you can really feel the characters pain and confusion. I’ve had to stop listening several times as it was all getting a bit much, so definitely making a connection to the characters. Although I couldn’t leave it, so returned to listening again! My only complaint would be that they are too short, please give us the next instalment soon Sam!

Another great book in the series

Very well written with good detail, if you like medieval fantasy then you will not be disappointed. The characters are all very different but you can really envisage them, the story just carries you along and I have been kept up at night because I simply couldn't stop listening!
The only disappointment for me is that only 3 of the series are available in audio format, this now means I have to buy the paperback to see how the series ends, maybe audible should warn people of this before they start the series.

Sam feuerbach is the king

I got sucked into the gravediggers series and snapped this series up as soon as I could. S.F writes beautifully, the characters are incredibly well throughout have great depth and their is some fantastic humour throughout. Don't miss out on a writer at the top of his game!
