A good friends to lovers romance.
A good friends lovers romance.
When Paige gets persuaded to rent one of her rooms temporarily to her best friends brother she's a little shocked to find the hottie on her doorstep. The boy who was once her friend's little brother, who used to follow them around is definitely now all man.
A lot of chemistry and the sexy times begin as Paige and Cannon fight their undeniable attraction. Fun and games, skirting around feelings, Paige is afraid what her lifelong best friend will think and the secrets commence, I loved it and who can deny a hot sexy doctor who definitely knows a thing or two about anatomy.
The Room mate was a hot sexy and flirty read with great characters.
A good story with lots of hotness. A light and sexy read with no major dramas.
Told in first person dual pov.
I listened to this on audio and I liked the female narration but found the male sounded too much like Hannibal Lecter and too old for the character which was a little distracting at first but I blocked that out and concentrated on the story which had me hooked from the beginning.
I would definitely read more of Kendall Ryan's books a great example of contemporary romance with a good balance of everything a romance reader wants.

Slightly disappointing
I love Kendall Ryan books so I was surprised when I started listening to this one and it didn’t hold my concentration. It seemed to take a long time to get into the guts of the actually story but sadly the voice of Cannon, Jeremy York didn’t go together with the description of the character. There was nothing wrong with the reading itself I just think he wasn’t the right choice for this character. I also think more could of been made of the fire scene (don’t want to give to much away). It seemed to be over in a couple of sentences.
This won’t put me off I shall continue with the other books in the series and others from the great Kendall Ryan.
