I thoroughly enjoyed this book(s). it's effectively a story based on Irish/Norse mythology with a backdrop of the Viking invasion/raids on England but set in a fantasy world.

on the whole is well written with enjoyable characters but the best thing for me was the Narrator who I thought was fantastic and really brought the characters to life.

How I loved this audio book. The narration is masterful and compliments the plot superbly.

I really recommend this trilogy to anyone with a love of well-crafted, exciting fantasy.

Bits were a bit formulaic, especially if read lots of science fantasy type novels, but an enjoyable listen on a long van drive

The story is on an epic scale and exactly the world I wanted to immerse myself in.
The narration is absolutely stunning. Every character works. Could anyone tell me any more books he has narrated? I cant seem to find any and I would certainly listen to books he characterises.
