About this listen

I loved this story! It was a little slow and repetitive in the middle, but it quickly got very fast. I also really liked the narration, my only real complaint is the narrator kept adding these long pauses. I listened at 1.7x speed and that helped!

Binge listened in 24 hours. I could not stop listening. Gripped from start to finish. Didn’t see the ending coming. It was really really good. I’ve just purchased the other audiobooks from this author and my next listen is one of hers. Downloaded it ready. The narrator was perfect and suited the book so much. A huge 5 stars ***** but it deserves so much more. Definetely grap this title even if you’ve never listened to one by this author. This is the perfect place to start. So so good!

What’s not to like about myths and folklore, ghosts or ghouls, abandoned villages and disappeared people. Or is it just a crime instead of a mystery? Or both? Whatever it turns out it’s a suspense keeping the reader involved and hooked, nobody can avoid the fascination or run out the tense and danger. If you have some ideas forming in your head early on, don’t trust anybody. Not even yourself.
