The only real problem that I had with this narration, is the periods of "he said / she said". I'm sure that this could be avoided.

Although the story followed fairly predictable lines it nevertheless was engaging. The main protagonist was 'likeable', in a ' hardman' way.

Do personal interest group run military strategies for economic gain? A plausible premise I think.

i took a chance on this book after i enjoyed two books featuring Garret Mann. I wasnt convinced about the narrator in the preview but turns out i loved the narration and a collection of interesting characters woven into a compulsive storyline. Starting book 2 in the morning 😊
