A fascinating, no nonsense account of a full and varied life in the Regiment. It would have been even better if narrated by Rusty, but still very engaging. Definitely worth a listen for anyone interested in what makes SF operators tick 👍

There are many books like this to choose from, and mostly follow the same formula. Whilst this one is not dissimilar to the others, I loved the brutal honesty of the story teller in showing us how it really was. It's not all flash bang, jumping into hot spots, shooting up our enemies and then getting home in time for tea and medals; infact quite the opposite. I really enjoyed the chapter on the Falkland Islands and learnt something new. Crazy times. Thank you for this book, Rusty.

I absolutely loved this audiobook, Rusty’s story was great and the pace of the audiobook / ebook was nice and easy reading. I’d highly recommend this audiobook to people who want to learn about the army and SAS in particular. Brilliant !
