he betrayed her, what he did is still betrayal and I would not forgive someone, there's no coming back in my eyes, on top of everything he did behind her back it ruined the story for me. I would also have quit the job, The excuse he used is also stupid.

I know the author had to find a way to create drama, but could have just created a misunderstanding. but nope was a betrayal all the same

Cute story, the spice is good, but the ending is a little twee, although who doesn’t want everyone to end up happy. The narrators are really good but I never understand why, when you have a male and female narrator, they take turns reading chapters. It would have been so much better if you let Andi play Georgina and Jacob play Reed. Hearing men imitate a female voice makes my toes curl, and not in a good way ;-), and vice versa to be fair.

Not done listening but Jacob Morgan is superb. He can really save mediocre writing. Same with Andi!

I’ve been in a book slump recently for both audible and kindle and this managed to drag me out of it thankfully.

This is an entertaining romp through the relationship of Reed Rivers (he of Reed Rivers Records fame!) and Georgina, the rookie journo who gets caught in his web. Reed is arrogant, cocky, manipulative and of course sexy as all heck. Georgina is feisty, ambitious, driven, and of course beautiful. Reed ties himself into so many knots trying to catch Georgina he fails to realise that he probably would have caught her anyway with a little bit of honesty! There are of course twists and turns, both Georgie and Reed are quite broken, but eventually through three books we find their HEA.

There are cameos from other characters within the Reed Rivers universe which is fun (you don’t have to have read previous books to enjoy this one).

I think if I’d had to buy all three books separately I’d have felt quite cheated, but given there are three books for one credit then Imho it’s well worth it.

Both narrators are arguably the best in the business and of course both did an excellent job. My life would be complete if these two could narrate all audio books going forward.
