Colin Sutton is widely acknowledged as the most eminent Metropolitan Police detective of the last thirty years. In this book, Sutton gives listeners a glimpse into the life of a top tier police detective and revisits some of the other cases he led throughout his career, all against a backdrop of his own life. He goes into great detail about the investigations, starting from the moment the call came in right through to bringing the cases to trial, and all whilst having to deal with the pressures of being at the top.

Loved it well read great stories off his early life as a police officer very down to earth guy i want more stories from the real manhunter chapter 3 is like the movie lock stock and barell

....as far as how the end of his 1st career came to a close,it's reflective of the fact far too many people in high level management are guided by ego's, insecurity and narcissism and far too many of the best employees become victims or targets of these weak leaders.....

great listen, Colin details his experiences so will and honestly, describes his line in the police so well and more than anything, puts the emphasis on the victim.
