Summary

Goodreads Best Fantasy YA 2020.

The intoxicating and bloodthirsty finale to the New York Times best-selling The Cruel Prince, nominated for the Cilip Carnegie Medal 2019, and New York Times best seller The Wicked King.

After being pronounced Queen of Faerie and then abruptly exiled by the Wicked King Cardan, Jude finds herself unmoored, the queen of nothing. She spends her time with Vivi and Oak, watching reality television, and doing odd jobs, including squaring up to a cannibalistic faerie.

When her twin sister, Taryn, shows up asking a favour, Jude jumps at the chance to return to the Faerie world, even if it means facing Cardan, whom she loves despite his betrayal. When a dark curse is unveiled, Jude must become the first mortal Queen of Faerie and break the curse or risk upsetting the balance of the whole Faerie world.

What a phenomenal conclusion!

I can’t recommend this book and series enough. I lived and breathed every moment, every detail. My heart died a few times over- it was too much and not enough at the same time. These characters have grown so much and II feel so much a part of their journey
What an epic conclusion to the Folk of Air series.
Incredible narration.

Sad to finish the series

I binge listened this and I'm so sad to say goodbye to Jude! The voice acting was on point. Very happy 😊

Dang it I really liked this book but...

Where the romance at? Yes there's some but I really wanted more of cardan and jude and I felt it was quite minimalistic. Shame because like I said I did love the series but I wish there was more romance rather than never ending suspence and yearning all over.

Wow! Epic tale. I wished the series would not end.

Holly, your imagination is endless. It is possible to blink my eyes, see Elfhame and believe. Kelly's voice is perfect for this epic series.
