Detective Inspector Marco Ramirez of the Cornwall Police Major Investigation Team is called to the remote Island of St. Mary to investigate a suspicious arson.

With the discovery of a mysterious amulet and the uncovering of the victim's true identity, he is unwillingly thrown into the centre of an ancient prophecy.

He now holds the key to protecting the world against a secret plot of global domination, but this also unearths hidden demons from his past.

Will Marco be able to deal with this cascade of events in time to seek out a group of unsuspecting strangers and save humanity as we know it?

I enjoyed the story however the narration was too over the top and it all became very unbelievable and I nearly DNF.

Good story with disappointing narration

Being not much of a reader but wanting to get into it, a friend of mine recommended audiobooks, so I thought I would give it a go and I am SOOO happy I did! My partner has read this book and told me it needs to be my first audiobook. From the very first chapter I couldn’t stop listening, the narrator does a sterling job at getting you hooked on the story and the characters! I can’t wait for the next book by Dan Alexander! Go and give this a listen, you will not be disappointed!!!
