Great audiobook

I read the kindle edition last year but always wanted to re-read it. The audiobook made it easier for me to be able to consume the knowledge again.

Great book highly recommended. I'm listening to it now for the third time since I bought it.

Would love to get another book from you.

Productivity manual for every Muslim

Faris takes inspirations from well known and successful psychology and self development preachers such as Brain Tracy and combines it with Islamic teachings to guide the reader on living a meaningful purpose filled life that is oriented towards social focus in addition to self development and proper use of time.

I will recommend this book to anyone who is interested in increasing their productivity. This book will not solve all your productivity problems but it will give you practical tips and template to work from.

Motivational and uplifting!

I listened to this over the course of a few days whilst doing chores and I can't begin to say how much it has helped me. I feel so motivated and ready to take action in my life in the best way possible. He uses examples from the life of the Prophet SAW and his companions to teach us how to be productive and strive for the hereafter. JazakAllah for such an amazing book!

The only resource you need on productivity

I have been reading and listening to books on self-development for several years now, and they have completely changed my life. This books takes it to the next step by combining the two very important aspects of spirituality and productivity. Faris refers to several books and concepts that I have read about and incorporated in my life. I already had knowledge about a lot of the information he discusses related to exercise, nutrition and sleep, but then again I have read books and books on each these aspects. If you want one single guide to have access to all of the critical information you need to live a healthy, productive and meaningful life, then this book is a great choice.

How do you integrate productivity for Allah sake?

If you could sum up The Productive Muslim in three words, what would they be?

Allahs' Productive Slave.

What other book might you compare The Productive Muslim to and why?

Three personal favorite and effective productivity books to compare with. The Productivity Project by Chris Bailey, Getting Things Done by David Allen, and Getting Results the Agile Way by J. D. Meier. The Productive Muslim book helps me strengthen and internalize the importance of being productive as a Muslim. The goal is not for material gains. Results are an outcome of Allahs' will. Investing in being productive to seek Allahs' pleasure and Use productivity as an act of worship. MashaAllah.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

While waiting for this audiobook release. I believe this audiobook needs to be read by the author himself, Mohammed Faris. Despite a very small unnoticeable narration pronounciation, his performance narrating the message was clear and easily absorb. Consistency in delivering his energy in his voice throughout the book. MashaAllah. TabarakAllah.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

A few times I got home and reaching the office car park, I was still in the car listening to complete the chapter. This is because there is just so much knowledge to reflect on from each chapter of the audiobook. Connecting the dots. MashaAllah.

Any additional comments?

I would like the publisher or author to upload the bibliography of the book accompanying this audiobook. Most of the reference made in the book needs to be checked and read deeper. Especially when author narrates the translation and quote from the Quran. I would like to know which Verse from which Surah it was Quote. JazakAllahu khair.

Inspirational, Practical & well structured

The author did a fantastic job of writing a complex topic of leadership, spirituality and productivity and distilling it into an exciting and inspiring book. I enjoyed the practical tools and applications shared in the book and can be easily implemented. Furthermore, the spiritual element and alignment with the true meaning of being useful not only at work but in many hats/roles we play in life were inspiring. May Allah grant this author the strength, knowledge and wisdom to continue writing many books to inspire the creation of the Allah. I look forward to your next book.

The best book I have ever read about productivity

May Allah help us all, and keep us all guided. I am finding this book as my key reference point in becoming more productive person. I used to try many techniques but there was some disconnection with my goals. This book have made me understand more clearly and I am so pleased about how the author have narrated so clearly. I recommend every Muslim to read/listen to the book. I do actually have the physical book but I am finding this audible book much convenient way to keep listening to the clear narration. May Allah bless this work. 👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Unique

As a Muslim who loves learning how to be productive, my main struggle is that I could never relate to any of tips and advice I heard. This is due to the fact that most speakers of productivity are coming from a secular perspective. This is important especially when it comes to time management, as they do not have to think of managing prayer in their day. This book is everything I wanted in a productivity book because it includes how to manage with prayers and how to apply Islamic beliefs into everyday routine, along with countless productive tips. This book also taught me the incredible concept of how “work is worship”. Thank you to the author for the wonderful advice, I recommend this book to anyone who is struggling to manage religion, work, social, and personal life, just as I was struggling with this before stumbling upon this book. My favorite line from this book was: Wherever Allah plants you, be fruitful.
