Brilliant
If you want to make changes, or have tried in the past and failed, then this is a great book to get you on the right track. It won't do the work for you, but it will tell you what work you need to do, and how you can do it.

Life changing book!
Loves this book, think to read it would have been hard going but as an audio brilliant. Have listened to it three times now and am instigating new habits

Interesting and practically helpful
Really interesting insights into the reasons behind habits, and lots of stories which explore the cues, routines and impacts of habits.
Other reviews say this book doesn't provide practical help, I think perhaps they didn't listen to the last section which provides clear and easy steps to identifying and tackling habits you want to change.
Would definitely recommend!

Talks about American football a lot
I didn't listen to all if it. maybe I don't have the patience for these long stories to make a simple point. also the stories seemed to be about American football all the time. which being English, I don't recognise.

Read this to improve your life
A wonderful read!
Charles Duhigg uncovers the fascinating world of Habits and the power they have over our lives. For good and bad.
I had a sense that there daily habits impacted our lives, but not to this level. By understanding their influence, we can learn to change them, and ultimately our welfare and happiness.
The final chapter is particularly powerful. Charles details how he personally changed a habit of daily cookie eating into something more positive. He lays out the steps he took, and you can simply replicate his steps to change a habit you have.
Charles portrays the topic with humour, intellect and scientific research. These blends suits my style perfectly.
I would recommend it to anyone interested in personal development and human psychology.

Probably a good book
I have seen Charle Duhigg mentioned in a wide range of books I have read, and I was keen to read the original work. I am sure this book is brilliant. Unfortunately, I really dislike the narrator and the silly voices he puts on. One for the Kindle, where I can read instead of listen, I think!
