Summary

To play or not to play.

Prince Quinn, royal ambassador, isn't looking for a serious relationship. In fact, he's never even considered it. Hopping from lover to lover, he's content to enjoy himself, never taking anything but his work seriously. However, when Dr. Tori Elliot is sent to the palace to test for biological weapons, he can't seem to stay away from her.

Tori Elliot has just finished her last assignment and is on her way to a much-needed vacation. But when the Human Intelligence Agency stops her ship and demands she heads up a team on some remote planet, she knows it in her best interest not to refuse. Ever serious, she knows she's there to do a job and no matter what, she's going to act like a professional.

Meeting Prince Quinn, his body pressed against another woman in the palace halls, she knows he's not the man for her. Too bad he's the ambassador and too sexy for his own good. Fighting her desire, Tori must try to do her job while not succumbing to the playful Var prince.

Rowrrrrr

Received free in exchange for an honest review. I found this book to be humorous and inventive. The character Quinn is sexy, funny and in for a challenge when he meets human scientist Tori. It is imaginative and takes you away to another world where a human can fall in love with a cat shifter, with complications of course, and be happy.

The Prince and his Doctor!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes I would because it's about shifters and most of my friends love the genre. It is also narrated very nicely.

What other book might you compare The Playful Prince: A Dragon Lords Story to and why?

Any book by this author.

What about Michael Ferraiuolo’s performance did you like?

Very plain spoken, handled each character very well.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When they are trying to find the murderer of Simon.

Any additional comments?

I was gifted this audible for my honest review

Great book

I thought this book was great. Misunderstandings between Tori and Quinn could be annoying since it happened so often, especially when he thought Tori was romantically involved with Victor, who he did not know was her brother. There is suspense in finding the scientist's killer.

As always, Michael Ferraiuolo did an awesome job narrating both male and female voices. I love Michelle Pillow's books and would highly recommend this series.

Good but repetitive.

I liked the characters in the book, much more developed than the first book. But the continuous plot twist caused by the lack of communication is starting to get boring in this series.

Great Reading!

Action, suspense, romance, and laughter, what could be better? Quinn and Tori are a hoot. Tori's genius, and Quinn's charm mix so well. Don't miss this one.

Best of the series!

I loved how the H was a strong Alpha male but without being a chauvinist jerk. Also the h was actually a strong woman dedicated to the extremely important work without being a whiny, irritating, and indecisive woman.

That was a very annoying thing about Alyssa from the first book about the Var, The Savage King. Alyssa who was supposed to be a tough undercover agent is nothing more that a weak minded ninny.

I enjoyed that even though confused and caught up in her feelings for Quinn, Tori didn't allow him to control her. I liked that the author wrote Quinn as a strong Alpha who greatly valued and depended on his oldest brother's advise. It was also funny how jealous he was of Dr. Victor because his brothers didn't tell him the man was Tory's brother just to mess with their Little brother.

This book had a good plot, humour, and hot sex scenes.
