Informative

Prior to this book I didn’t realize there what PBS was, but I’m so glad that I’m better informed now. It’s always a great book when the author is sharing their own personal experience in the hopes of helping out others. I especially enjoyed the sections on the myths of PBS so you know what is real and what isn’t!

Spreading awareness

This book is like no other. The stories and facts in this book are raw and painful to hear but serves as a very excellent source of guidance and shares red flags for anyone who has a mobile device or laptop. Scammers can pop up from just about anywhere and pretend to befriend you, whether it may seem accidental or you find them on a dating or networking website. Not everyone has good intentions. Bravo to the author for exposing such a shameful industry built solely to lure and rob victims of their entire life savings. Read this book to prevent yourself from getting into any heartaches or losing all your hard earned money. Young adults especially need to be super wary since they are venturing on social media the most. This book must be shared to as many people out there!

Heartbreaking cautionary tale worth learning from!

We have all been scammed on some level or degree and all need to learn from this heartbreaking cautionary tale. I have empathy for these folks who have been scammed of their life savings, because the internet is full of elaborate pitfalls and many of us are too trustingImportant to be vigilant about the possibility of a scam, especially on social media. I have been ripped on more than once from a Facebook ad for goods that were never delivered.. It has made me change passwords and my mail email address.

The author is brave to write about her experience and others like her. Through them coming forward it, they help us understand these criminal rings in SE Asia who have elaborate scrips and psychological tactics. Worth reading or listening to in order to learn from. God bless all these people and I pray for your mental wellbeing and financial stability. Moving on can be hard I'm sure, but there are still many more good people in the world than bad.

An Eye-Opening Journey

I've always been intrigued by how scams operate. The author's personal experience is both fascinating and heart-wrenching, and I couldn't help but feel sorry for what she went through.
This audiobook made me realize that falling into a scam is not something that only happens to others; it's far too easy to be caught in these traps. By listening to the author's story, I became more aware of the workings of scams and the various ways scammers can take advantage of us.

The big rip-off scam.

A very enlightening insight into the world of scams and schemes to take advantage of any person who is not well informed on all of the different ways and lengths that these devious people will go to, to rape innocent people online out of their hard-earned money. They will go to great lengths to intimidate people through the use of applied psychology to convince people to part with their life savings by manipulating, conditioning, and controlling the people they target into doing things that they never would do on their own. This book really raises awareness to such online scams that if people were aware of earlier, they would never have parted with their hard-earned money so easily. A great eye opener!

Loved it

There are a vast majority of scammers in this word which are greedy and scam the people but the author revealed real life scam experience from former PBS victims. This is a helpful guide to listen which will give you an understanding of unbelievable crime to law enforcement and face the most difficult challenges. There is too much more interesting information about this topic which is worth to listen and learn more about it.

A real eye opener!

Wow, I knew there were scams but had no idea to the scale that this book talks about. Quite honestly I’m mind blown by the extent that some people go to to convince other to part with their cash.
Had my attention from the start and recommend to anyone who is contemplating investing.
On another note I feel if crypto were regulated it would be a step In the right direction.
