Summary

The news is full of hotly debated divergent claims about the impacts and risks of climate change. Lawrence Krauss, one of the world's most respected physicists and science populizers, cuts through the confusion by succinctly presenting the underlying science of climate change. The audiobook provides a unique, clear, accurate and easily accessible perspective of climate science and the risks of global inaction. The narrative, which movingly opens and closes on a Mekong Delta riverboat, lyrically explores the history of how scientists progressed to our current understanding of the Earth's climate and its future.

The Physics of Climate Change is required listening for anyone interested in understanding humanity's role in the future of our planet.

really needs an accompanying pdf

I was really excited about this book however feel less ke it's lacking in this format. I'm interested enough that I will probably by the kindle version just to see the diagrams the author constantly refers to. however I don't think I'd recommend the audio version to future customers. A shame as the audio seems pretty good despite this

Poor presentation

This reading really requires a PDF with figures included. As it is, it is very difficult to follow and I had to resort to buying the kindle version for that purpose.

Needs pdf with figures

An informative, clear, and physics-focused explanation of climate science, I just wish the figures referred to throughout were available in an accompanying pdf.

A fantastically accessible breakdown of the science behind climate change

I read this so that I could have an argument ready for those like my father in law, who deny that climate change is influenced by human activity. It’s the perfect book for that purpose.

Fascinating and very factual

Unlike many other resources on this topic, it’s clear this book is based on a deep and well crafted research. I enjoyed wealth of data and mathematical evidence that reader can use in own models. Someone said this is the most important book everyone should read. Yes. I agree it’s worth listen or read this great work.

Good accessible science

One of those books you wish more people would engage with. Perhaps initially a bit caught up in the basic science of it but the later chapters really bring home the facts of the situation we’re all in. Going to listen to the author’s podcast now.

Everyone should read this.

Gives you a proper understanding of how climate change happen and how we know we as humans has a significant effect on it.

I wish all the figures he refers to, came as a downloadable PDF.. Even though he describes them.

This is NOT an audiobook!

Although an interesting book and well written, there are many important images and formulae the author refers to that are not provided as an accompanying pdf. As a result it does not lend itself to listening.
Sadly I returned this title back to audible after reaching the 3rd chapter.

Desperately needs an accompanying PDF

This is a fascinating book but the author repeatedly refers to figures and tables in the narration, which are clearly very important to visualise and understand the concepts. These figures are not provided with the audiobook and based on the descriptions are quite complex. This lack of an accompanying PDF is a massive shame because it robs the listener of an accurate understanding of the material as the author would have intended. Audible, please rectify this,
