The Atlantic: A young woman sailing solo across the Atlantic makes an incredible discovery - a man narrowly clinging to life in the open ocean. But the desperate survivor is more than he appears. He is a Kidon - an Israeli assassin - who forcibly commandeers her boat with a new destination in mind: England. There the two are forced into an uneasy partnership as they run from a secretive and lethal organization. The resulting wake of destruction brings Scotland Yard to the hunt - searching for an accomplished killer and a woman whose life has been capsized.

One Shot: The Kidon soon uncovers the true enemy - a manipulator responsible for the tragic event that shaped him to be what he is. There is only one solution. With deliberate, inescapable precision, he will hunt down the one who created... The Perfect Assassin.

Everyone in England has the same accent and speaks from the 1800’s , police don’t drive black and whites or have the rank of lieutenant. The accents really ruined this book. Story was good and I enjoyed it apart from the above and would say it’s alright but would have to mention the performance

Good book ruined

Good story with lots going on but wish I'd read it instead of using audio which is usually excellent. Hard to follow at points. Highly recommend reading it. . Needed an English reader to pronounce locations / places / cars etc correctly and pull off English accents!

Good mix of characters

what a great story. well narrated and full of suspense. this would make a film of the Bourne caliber.

wicked story line

I accepted defeat at chapter 8 as by then the silly story, terrible accents and pace left me wondering why I was wasting my time listening. It’s an old book and audiobooks have moved on a long way since this was released, so I went in with an open mind; however, a book should not be endured.

Not good, endured it to chapter 8.

The narrator has a terrible voice, there is nothing pleasant about it at all. She can’t read particularly well, the pitch, tone, speed, style, emphasis and attempts at accents are all combining to make this one of the worst books I’ve listened to.

Sadly the story is really interesting and seems well written but the narrator makes you have to fight not to shut out her voice. Her voice really is the worst one I’ve come across. She races through it too so it’s incredibly difficult to follow.

This book needs to be reread by a different narrator.

Good story but terrible narration
