Excellent book for partnerships
If you could sum up The Partnership Charter in three words, what would they be?
Valuable, thought-provoking, & straightforward. As someone contemplating bringing others into my business as partners, this book was perfect. The author provided valuable, actionable material instead of just opining on their perspective. There are great example stories and the framework is easy to follow. I've listened 3x already and plan to keep this on my re-read list.

Critical partnership guidelines!
This book is essential reading for any partnership, be it family or not. The author does a great job of running through all the possible scenarios, and makes commonsense out of some of the mysteries involved in partnerships. This is absolutely essential reading for any potential partners, or those already in partnerships.

Good, but too much "noise" and fake science
The book is not mean to be technical and deep. Rather, it provides a good review of what can go wrong in a business partnership. Much of this is common sense, but there is much value in reviewing all these cases in one book. It provides a good framework to think about partnerships in general terms.
The book provides no legal or business advice. It warns about possible pitfalls, repeatedly stresses that these things need to be discussed in advance in a partnership charter, but it would definitely require much more research or professional advice to set these partnerships right.
The last few chapters slip into rather useless, or even misleading, review of personality types and other stuff that felt not only irrelevant to the the subject of the book, but also has signs of pseudoscience. For example, the Author devotes too much time to Myers Briggs and DiSC personality profiles and tries to make a case they are relevant when selecting partners. By now, these models/instruments have been largely discredited and shown to lack internal and external validity and predictive power. I guess the Author continues sell this "snake oil" to his clients, so he included it in the book. I don't know if the Author still genuinely believes that these tests are more useful than fortune cookies, or he just needed to fill pages, but this part was a big disappointment to me.
Still i STRONGLY RECOMMEND the book as the first reading if you're planning to enter a business partnership. The book definitely has value and it worth it's price.

Business Partner Mitigation Bible
This is a thorough book diving deep into partnerships & potential pitfalls. There are a few tools recommended in regards to personality comparability that look valuable as well.
