The story was light and quite sweet, which did not take too much concentration.

The annoying aspect was the repetition in regard to the description of the weather. The story took place during the summer months in Ireland, where rain is no stranger. However it rained and rained and rained with more rain, all types of rain. At the end of the story the sun shone for the first time in months. oh so cheesy and sweet.

Absolutely adore this book., unusual romantic setting , among the Oyster catching community in Ireland seaside bays.
Rich characters with ancient histories and a newcomer who changes their lives for the better.

Really enjoyed this book and the story. I couldn’t put it down and finished it within two days. I will be listening to more books by this author. Would definitely recommend.

Good story, unfortunately I didn't enjoy the narration, mainly because the narrator seemed very flat and monotone, the portrayal of the main characters were particularly dull.
