After a brief and deadly civil war, in which forbidden weapons were used, Russia is just a fraction of what it used to be. The border of what now proudly calls itself the 'Moscow Empire' is set just a few hundred miles away from the capital, by the broad river Volga, now poisoned by the fallout. For years, nobody has come from the other side of the bridge. Until now... Post-Apocalyptic Science Fiction

Its in the same world as metro series, but somehow more gloomy. Man i have to listen to something happier to dull the edge of this.

pretty dark

The narrator cast for this audio was a bad choice!
Russian citizens speaking in a stereotype angry Yorkshire farmer voice, just didn’t immerse me into Moscow life!

Very basic compared to authors other works

While I have to agree with the comments regarding the out of place Yorkshire accent of the outpust inhabitants, the voicover was done quite well. Also loved the story, but I didn't mind the slow burn and buildup. I especially loved the "villain" concept in the book. wow

Interesting "villain" concept

the story is a giant disapointment.all the characters are flat. overall, it's nothing to do with the Metro 2033 universe. the narrator/reader saves it a bit by his performance of the different characters' voices.

this story is as bad as Metro 2033 was good
