Summary
Cutler Ryder was everything I wasn’t.
He was the hockey star. I was an outcast. He was best friends with my stepbrother, that same stepbrother who hated me. His two parents loved him. My mom was a junkie. My dad barely knew me.
Years passed. I got my life together. Cut went onto NHL stardom. Then there was a text.
I was drinking. There was a party. Cut was there....
I loved Cutler Ryder since the first moment I saw him.
The only problem? He never knew I existed.

As the saying goes you can't pick your family!!!!
I don't write many review but felt I had too. This book is one I've taken very much to my heart. It has helped me understand more about health issues of the brain/mind. I hope people can take away that we all are a little bit crazy and it's ok. Loved that Cut wanted to give Cheyenne a chance and understood her challenges where not total barriers. Thank you Tijan xxx
p.s you must have more stories about the Cat's ;)
p.p.s. I wish I could give you 10 stars....x

Perfection!! I want a friend like Cheyenne ❤️
𝕋𝕚𝕛𝕒𝕟 - 𝕋𝕙𝕖 ℕ𝕠𝕥-𝕆𝕦𝕥𝕔𝕒𝕤𝕥: 𝔸 𝕙𝕠𝕔𝕜𝕖𝕪 𝕤𝕥𝕒𝕟𝕕𝕒𝕝𝕠𝕟𝕖!
𝔸ℝℂ
What makes me fall in love with Tijan's writing is that she writes unexpected plots, such realistic and imperfect characters, weaves an insanely exciting and engrossing plot with so many life lessons given to the readers.
And here again she won my heart for the second time this year❤️
Tijan is known as a writer who creates different and unusual characters, and with all their differences you can't help but fall in love with them.
Cheyenne's life story is really not simple, she was born to an addicted mother, and as a result she is dealing with a mental illness.
I admit, at first I thought she was a bit strange but reading from her point of view made me fall in love with her - her thoughts, her behavior, her sensitivity, her kindness - I had no chance against her 😍
Then Cutler “Cut” Ryder came into the picture and the world was painted in an even more beautiful light❤️🔥
Cut entry into Cheyenne's life felt a bit like what we read in fairy tales, except that the princess is a very real and realistic character, and it happened in cruel reality.
Her life story crushed me and made me cry like a little girl, my heart goes out to her❤️🩹
I won't go into detail about the plot because I want everyone to experience it and be moved by the journey the characters went through, whether Cheyenne with Cut or Cheyenne and her amazing friends (Sasha and Melanie) who made me want to read books about them.
I found myself muttering "Fucking Chad", reacting to situations with one word, tearing up with excitement and smiling a lot because Cheyenne is the best thing ever created and I wish I had a friend like her.
So after this book I found myself full of pride towards the h, full of appreciation for the wonderful friendship of her gang, crazy love for the H and his family.
It's not a simple story and yet Tijan managed to balance it perfectly so that it is neither too heavy nor too light.
The height of romance, the height of love, so many sentences for life and I'm deeply in love among the best books I've read this year😍
If you read and enjoyed "My Torin" - read this book!
I highly recommend this book!
There is something to look forward to!❤️🔥

A favourite for me
I adore Tijan and I’ve listened to a couple of her audiobooks but I’m such a fan of this author I also own the ebook and paperback. This book is brilliant. Sports romance is my go to when I need a break from my darker reads and this one doesn’t disappoint. The narrators are perfect and I love that this has the male narrator doing all of the male parts. This story touches on the struggles that come with some mental health issues and as always is written beautifully and with care and research.
Tijan is a one click author for me and has written some of my all time book boyfriends.
Cut is no different. Cheyenne is a great female main character and their story is perfect. From chapter one I was sucked into this world and I recommend these to all of you audio lovers. If you’re new to audio books this is one to try, the narration is brilliant and I’ll be looking for these narrators in future books.

Stunning
Every time I read or listen to a book by Tijan I am swept out of my world and into the characters, and this was no exception I felt everything they way they did, my own mental health resonated if not in the same intensity certainly in the same feeling and she captured this perfectly. Love, it saves us, and these books save me every time.

Cut & Chey!
Story: 4 ⭐️
Steam: 3 🔥
Audio: 5 🎧
This book was very different and I enjoyed it! Cheyenne was quirky and cute. Cut was so sweet and protective. Together they were unlikely but so perfect. It was awesome to see someone have such a struggle growing up but become such a strong adult.
Audiobook Performance:
Per usual, Andi Arndt and Jason Clark are amazing.

Love

Oh my god. But this couple? PHENOMENAL
I wasn’t expecting to like the FMC Cheyenne. And at first, I really didn’t. But the more we delved into her character, and the more I understood, the more enamored I became with it all. I won’t tell you what hooked me, but it was gradual as all get out, until the very end, and then it was like it had been there the whole time.
And Cutler. Man. I both understood and respected the young man in him, but the adult man? Whew. He got me immediately. He made no secret about what he was after, was loyal to a fault, and was just exactly what I was looking for in the hero that would be with Cheyenne.
I couldn’t help but love them all.

Intense and overwhelming
Cheyanne was hard to grasp, her mind was all over the place. I felt sick riding her verbal diarrhoea and the inner dialogue was too much. It was a perfect example of someone who may be on the neurodevelopment pathway. My son has ADHD and ASD and I can only imagine the chaos in his mind. That being said, the story wasn’t enjoyable for this reason. The book was overwhelming for me. It's great that Tijan is raising awareness about mental health. Cut was a likeable character and I'm pleased he was sincere and genuine.
Jason Clarke was the saving grace for this audiobook.

stunning story
This was such a fab book, I felt every emotion that Cheyenne and Cut went through as well as the struggles and heart-break. I loved how much Cut stood up for Cheyenne and how she came to trust and love him. Fab listen.
