Summary

The third installment from arguably the ninth most famous Stephen Reynolds in the world.

This time our intrepid explorer hikes the breathtaking 186 miles of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. A stunning and dramatic landscape of soaring rocky clifftops and sprawling white sands. Join him as he encounters a plethora of amazing wildlife from peregrine falcons to razorbills, from seals to wild ponies. Not to mention the dashed impressive bracing vistas and stormy seas, of course.

Marvel at his rudimentary understanding of Mesolithic tool making, share in his wonder at all manner of high-class moustaches, and there’s even the odd mermaid or spaceship thrown in for good measure.

A great reflection on roughing it comfortably

A great reflection on roughing it comfortably.
This is my third Stephen Reynolds read and I must say its been a triad of excellence, or an epic sequel of a sequel.
It goes down as well as a mars bar drink chaser.
Keep up the literary good work, mon biblo amie.

Another enjoyable ramble.

Another easy going walk with Mr. Reynolds. I find his tales both interesting and relaxing to listen to, and I often follow his journey on Google maps.

Beautiful escapism

I love all three of these audios, they are so beautifully descriptive, transporting you to a beautiful and wild landscape. The writing is very much from the perspective of someone coming from quite an ordinary, white collar, 9-5 background. It helps the rest of us that he isn't ex-SAS or someone who has previously trekked across Russia barefoot. Stephen Reynolds is very easy to relate to, not wanting to complain when his accommodation is dirty and noisy, looking for a pub at the end of each day, not liking camping. I promise you will want to go for a long walk by the end.

Yet another great book by S Reynolds

I am absolutely loving Stephen Reynolds books... more so that I am now thinking of writing/noting my adventures and walks, but I probably won't publish them 🤣
S Reynolds is funny, witty and makes me laugh out loud, which gets me some funny looks...
Here's to starting on his 4th book in his walking collection.

So disappointing

Was looking forward to this book as it is about an area of the Welsh coast that I love. Oh my what a disappointment the style of writing is so contrived and the reading just compounded it. I am unable to finish it as it winds me up big time. Buy at your peril. This is my first Audible dud. The others have been excellent.
