Summary

They said it was an accident. Her mother knows they’re lying. But the truth comes with a price....

A fast-paced and action packed psychological thriller that is full of twists and turns you won’t see coming. The Night Olivia Fell is the most gripping suspense mystery you’ll listen to this year.

It's every parent's worst nightmare.

Abi Knight is startled awake in the middle of the night to a ringing phone and devastating news - her teenage daughter, Olivia, has been in a terrible accident.

Abi is told that Olivia slipped and fell from a bridge into the icy water below, and now she lies silent, dependent on life support.

But then Abi sees the angry bruises around Olivia’s wrists and learns that her sensible daughter is in fact three months pregnant....

Would you believe it if they told you it was an accident?

A moving story with a 'whodunnit' mystery.

I enjoyed this audio book very much! Twists and turns throughout ending with a guilty verdict, profound sadness and then absolute joy and happiness!

Great suspense novel

I really enjoyed this book, great first book from Christina Macdonald. Suspense and twists and turns, also liked the back and forth between characters - fast paced and kept me totally intrigued!

Initially I thought "No, too sad" but I persisted

The premise of this book is really awful, but it is a mystery that I enjoyed.

I liked it. It is sad, and the mother is a person I could relate to. The daughter is just a little bit too good for my taste, but I could overlook that. The mystery is a good one, there were a number of characters that could have "done it".

The narrator did a good job with only one mispronunciation that grated on me. But it was only twice so I can forgive that too.
