Devil's Thirst was a great story. I loved seeing the romance unfold between Mellie and Sante while they navigated the issues going on in Mellie's life.
I'd classify this story as a slow burn and I LOVED it! It showed these two could be together without being TOGETHER and I felt like they were stronger as a result!
I listened to the audiobook, narrated by Brooke Daniels and Peter Alden in dual narration. I really like Brooke's female voice, so that was a plus! Definitely planning on listening to the next book in the series as well.

Brooke Daniel and Peter Alden tell this story and just WOW. Daniels has the sweet sound that is Amelie. She gives her the innocence with the underlying experience that only she has. Alden is a new to me narrator and loved this voice. He has the alpha tone, that warm protectiveness that has a dangerous quality, but can also be that hug that keeps her safe. Loved this team and their performance.

OMG I LOVED THIS BOOK.!!
I have to admit that I haven't read the previous books that have characters that are linked with The Devil's Thirst.( The Byrne Brothers)..But now I really want to and will eventually.
But honestly it doesn't matter if you haven't read or listened to the Byrne series..Because as this book unravels you understand what has happened to Amelie when she was younger.
There is a secret society that Amelie's parents were a part of and they tried to sell Amelie's Virginity..That didnt happen but Amelie was then kidnapped and suffered from amnesia.
Through her strength and determination she got through those dark times and is now a dancer and trying to get on with her life..
But the past will not leave her alone and she feels like she is being watched..!
Then unexpectedly Amelie has a new tattooed neighbour who seems to be determined to protect her.
Little does Amelie know that she has met her neighbour Isaac before...Because Isaac is not who he says he is..His actual name is Sante and they met at her sisters wedding were they had a connection..
Sante leaves the country for 4 years but never forgot Amelie and now he is back and wants to claim Amelie as his own.
He is completely Obsessed with her and will do ANYTHING to protect her...because Amelie could be in danger from the past.
This story is just so addictive I didnt want it to end and I am already totally eager for book 2.
You will definately fall in LOVE with Sante..he may be posessive and a bit demanding and controlling but the way he adores Amelie it is so swoon worthy..Plus he is tattooed and sexy so what more could you want.
I felt a bit of a connection to Amelie as she was a bit of a recluse and she didn't want to be a burden to people..she was very insecure ..But Sante sees her and knows how broken she is and still he wants her and accepts her...I Loved that about Sante.
This audiobook is Excellently narrated by 2 new voice actors to me Brooke Daniels and Peter Alden...They both totally impressed me with their talent and made this story come so alive through their voices and the emotions they expressed. They portrayed these characters perfectly and I loved the way they changed accents for different characters.Both Brooke and Peter will be narrators I will definately listen to again.I enjoyed listening to both of them.
Jill Ramsower's storytelling is Fantastic and she had me hanging on every word she wrote,I was so intrigued with what was happening and with the past...It kept my attention and wanting more.
I love and enjoyed Devil's Thirst very much and I am looking forward to more from the Moretti Men series.
Superb Audiobook.
Brilliant story.
