In the sprawling city of Manchester, forensic investigator Isla Crowley is secretly a werewolf, hiding her dual nature while solving the city's most bizarre crimes. When a series of gruesome murders begin occurring during the full moon, Isla teams up with Elias Thorn, a brooding but charming historian with knowledge of ancient supernatural lore. As they delve deeper, they uncover a hidden war between rival werewolf packs vying for dominance, a deadly cult that seeks to eradicate all supernaturals, and a mysterious artifact tied to Isla's own past.

The way the narrator brings each character to life is exceptional. You buy into each person wanting to see where they go and what will happen next. Exceptional work.

Such a good listen

Firstly, thank you very much, Lenena, for this ALC of The Moonlit Pact.

I rated this 3.5 stars 🌟 and would like to mention that the audio narrator did a really grand job at swapping between all the characters' voices and found it was easy to listen to their voice pact full of emotion.

This is a fun, fast-paced, easy read. Being a short story I can appreciate that there was not as much world building and depth to the characters/relationships, but there was enough to distinguish between each character and their personalities. I really liked Camilla, Ronan and Elias - Islas companions throughout the book.

If you're into an urban fantasy, crime busting, mystery book involving wolves and magic with the premises of Buffy The Vampire Slayer, you will enjoy this. Elias reminds me of a more handsome Giles 😂😂

A promising story and great narration by Kathlyn
