The perfect story for star gazing children!

A little girl is gazing at the moon one night when to her amazement, it seems to pop and disappear! Was she dreaming? Her mum and dad seem to think so but when they move into their new house the next day she finds a piece of it hiding in the garden! Can she help to rescue the moon and put it back together again? An imaginative, exciting story which is perfect for children who love the night's sky.

Calming bedtime story

Another great Ann Twigg book to listen to. My daughter liked that she has a similar name to the main character in this story. This story made her ask questions about the moon and got her to imagine if this would happen to her too. A really nice thoughtful story and aimed nicely at the 5-7 age group. Would listen to this again. Would recommend.

An easy listen, ideal for any children moving house.

We enjoyed hearing about Ellie’s challenge to help to save the mysterious moon. My daughter, also an ‘Ellie’ loved hearing of the main character’s heroic actions.

The story is ideal as a bedtime story, particularly as it’s read with a very soothing voice and the plot is gentle and child friendly.

It’s perfect for children who may be feeling anxious due to changing schools or moving house, as it constantly reminds us of the universal moon who is with us, guiding us wherever we go... smiling and reassuring us, as this book does also.

Very imaginative

An imaginative story about a little girl who witnessed the moon popping, though no one wants to believe her at first. It was interesting to hear the journey and wait for the resolution of if they ever restore the moon.
