About this listen

A brand new trilogy from worldwide bestselling author Suzanne Wright, author of The Dark in You, continues. A seriously spicy fantasy romance perfect for fans of Sarah J Mass, Raven Kennedy and Scarlett Sinclair. Meet Wynter and Cain . . .

---

The Ancients and the Aeons. Two groups of powerful immortals on the brink of destruction, and at the heart of it all stands Wynter Dellavale.

Wynter is a witch who once sought sanctuary for herself and her coven in Devil's Cradle. Better known as 'the Home of Monsters', it was a place for outcasts and fugitives. She now wears the brand of Cain, the infamous Ancient, who has claimed her soul for all of eternity and doesn't plan on ever letting go.

Together, Wynter and Cain have prevailed over many powerful enemies, but now they face their final - and most terrifying - battle. As the last Aeon left standing, the all-powerful Adam is out for revenge. His terms: Cain and Wynter in exchange for peace. If Devil's Cradle won't deliver them, the full force of Adam's devastating rage will fall upon them all. As the stakes are raised, Cain and Wynter will do whatever it takes to defeat Adam and keep each other safe, even if it means unleashing the monsters that live within them . . .

If I'm completely honest, not my favorite. But the whole series hasn't really been my favorite so not a judgment on this book as an individual. Nothing wrong with it, had a nicely written ending. It's solid Suzanne Wright quality, and the narration is superb as always. But I do prefer all the shifter and the demon series from her over this one.

Love this last book, bring an end to their cage and time to live their lives without so much danger. With the romance sparking even high and Adam sending out threats alone with bounty for any one who brings her in, Wynter is once again bring targeted but with time by the population around her. Who will betray her this time?
Lovely Epilogue of mixing the the Demon world along this the Monster world as has been done the other way around. Cat Doucette who's narration is spot on as always and brings this series alive with vibrant colour.
