Summary

Following on from where the extraordinary international best-seller The Miracle Morning left off, The Miracle Equation shares the secret to unlocking happiness, success and your full potential.

You Are Only Two Decisions Away from Everything You Want

There is a timeless, proven formula that the world's most successful people have used for centuries to tackle their biggest dreams, but it has been overlooked. Hal Elrod, best-selling author of The Miracle Morning, used it to thrive against seemingly insurmountable odds, from overcoming life-threatening health challenges to near financial collapse.

The Miracle Equation is that formula, and it consists of only two decisions that guarantee astonishing levels of success and fulfilment: unwavering faith and extraordinary effort.

By establishing and maintaining unwavering faith that you can achieve anything you desire, and then putting in extraordinary effort until you do, your success is inevitable.

Using the same strategy as the world's top achievers, you'll create results beyond what you believe to be possible. You'll learn how to replace fear with faith and let go of your negative emotions, accessing your full potential and channelling your energy into attaining positive outcomes.

With The Miracle Equation 30-Day Challenge to guide your way, you'll create a step-by-step plan to actualise your miracles and become the person you need to be in order to succeed.

A bit of a slow burner for me but well worth the listen

I wasn’t sure what to expect and there isn’t much that new here but that doesn’t matter. This is a worth while read if you want to improve your life and achieve your goals. Hal Elrod is an inspiration

A beautifully logical guide to personal growth

This method is built upon ideas that you already know to be true but have suppressed for some reason. It's been the easiest to engage with and take action on straight away.

Stick with this book, it offers a lot of value

I moved away from this book for a while as I just didn’t gel with the authors sales stories, I dislike the term ‘Miracle Mavens’, which he uses constantly, and I just got the feeling that this is not a guy I would like to hang out with. However, the important thing is the message not the messenger, and the message here is inspiring. Hal has been incredibly unlucky in his life yet has still achieved so much. I was inspired to take up his 30 day challenge and I’m confident it to deliver incredible results.

Inspiring story clearly explained

Hal’s experiences of how he has overcome some shocking challenges and the means by which he was able to do so are incredibly inspiring . More than that he makes it very clear how others can follow the same processes in their own lives to great effect.

Picked up a few things

Overall I enjoyed this book, although at first I found the author's voice irritating. A lot of the things I have heard before and I disagree with him that anything can be achieved if you continue to work it, just not true in my experience in certain areas of my life after YEARS of applied effort.

That said I picked up a few useful bits and pieces and would recommend it to others.

Platitudes

This is just a list of what other people did. Full of platitudes. So generalised it is almost valueless. The Miracle morning had a great simple idea that was worth talking about. But this is just a very poor sequel, retells the same stories, and brings the Elrod story no further forward. In fact I think it pulls it backwards. Sorry...

Populism, borderline Cult style!

Do not recommend!
The book starts with the author stating that his previous book (that was this amazing "thing") helped many people. Some how, a few years after he realizes that the book "was wrong, incomplete, did not work, did not helped people in fact"....and "this book fixes all that!".
Tried to listen a bit more, put the seep on x2, in an attempt to abstract myself from the populist and cult style this book was written; couldn't bare anymore and stopped.
