Summary

The Miller's Dance is the ninth in Winston Graham's sweeping series of Cornwall, Poldark.

Cornwall, 1812. At Nampara, the Poldark family finds the New Year brings involvement in more than one unexpected venture. For Ross and Demelza, there is some surprising - and worrying - news. And Clowance, newly returned from her London triumphs, finds that her entanglement with Stephen Carrington brings not only happiness but heartache.

As the armies battle in Spain and the political situation at home becomes daily more obscure, the Poldark and Warleggan families find themselves thrust into a turbulent new era as complex and changing as the patterns of The Miller's Dance....

another great Poldark book

A great story in the Poldark series. The narration really brought the characters to life.

Not as good but still Poldark

the book drags on a bit and characters such as Ross loose a bit of sparkle, while having his son commit crime for a woman, seems beneath the character. Yet it is nice to carry on following the family in its path.

Yet another Great BOOK by Winston Graham

The Story continue s as this series plunges on , nearly out of the regentcy era with another mining venture and ending with another feint at the now single George Warleggan

Love this series

Waited so long for this to be released. It was worth it but I wish we had more notice of release dates! A great story with a fantastic narrator. This is one of those series that you feel deep regret and loss when you're finished.

As good as the other ones

this is the ninth book in the series I have listened to. The standard is maintained, the story is beautifully developed and the characters never lose their interest. I never realised Winston Graham was such a good writer. and Oliver Hemborough's narration is second to none. Completely recommend.

The Miller's Dance

As always, I thoroughly enjoyed this Book. I have previously read all the Winston Graham's Poldark books and I am loving the audio books as much, if not more.

Wonderful narration by Oliver J Hembrough

These Poldark books by Winston Graham are brilliantly narrated and are lovely stories of late 18th and early 19th century Cornwall. I'm always immersed in all of the characters and their era with historical events woven in.
A really good narrator makes the book a really great listen. Well done Oliver J Hembrough, please don't ever stop narrating books.
I Can't wait to listening to book 10 The Loving Cup. :)
