[Gerritsen] pulls no punches when it comes to confronting the most extreme and disturbing outer reaches of human behaviour... But we Gerritsen fans are a hardy breed and this scarifying novel delivers everything we go to her for

Most relevant
This series never disappoints, always entertains and it’s great to check in with the main characters. I felt the deaths in Italy were never really explained or visited again, which was odd and it was ever so slightly predictable compared to previous R & I novels. Still a good read though
