I was always looking for the right diet

I found this book is super informative and useful! It explained what exactly the Mediterranean Diet For Beginners, what the benefits are and how to start a meal plan. Then, a ton of delicious recipes were introduced in details with friendly ingredients, clear directions and full of nutrition information. Each one detailed with not only with the "how" but also the "why". Covers salads, entree's, desserts and more. Great glossary of terms found in the back. A great addition to our kitchen as my wife and I try to eat healthier.

Great way to begin making permanent changes in my

The saying that you ‘are what you eat’ is literally true and when you eat any meal, your body will break it down into certain parts and then reassemble those parts in order to build muscle, create enzymes and hormones and even produce neurotransmitters (the chemicals that make our brain work).

If we are willing to consider the fact that our selfperceptions are flawed, we can take the necessary steps toward healing those broken pieces of ourselves that make us stop believing we are worthy of being taken care of.

This is especially important if you are attempting to survive on a diet of processed foods and highly sugary beverages that make it almost impossible to lose weight. This book extraordinary cause all of this books tips are really helpful. I would must suggest this book to anyone. Whatever, thanks to author and must recommended for this book.

I was extremely surprised

I was extremely surprised by the value of this book for the price! I was just expecting a cookbook with a couple of weeks worth of meals but no.. it explains the what, why and how of the Mediterranean diet! There are a lot of recipes for every meal, including the Mediterranean Diet for Beginners! These are also all perfect for people who like to meal prep

Review of Mediterranean Diet by a purchaser

These short-term health problems/issues can most definitely be something to worry about because they can negatively affect your health in the long term.

Unlike other diets which restrict healthy carbs like fruits and vegetables or even healthy protein sources like fish, chicken and eggs, the Mediterranean diet does not restrict a person’s consumptions of these foods simply because they have nutritional value.

Improves your cholesterol and blood sugar levels. In addition, protects you from diabetes and helps you maintain a healthy weight.

Keeps your brain sharp, alert and active and helps prevent brain disease such as Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia.

You can practice other types of self-love, using methods such as mindfulness, journaling, meditation and using positive affirmations. I have to admit that I skipped some as I did not like all the ingredients. I use this daily, and have discovered a new and healthier way to eat! I would definitely recommend this cookbood to anyone who likes to cook and try new recipes. Having the nutritional breakdown of each recipe was a great added bonus as I am trying to eat healthier. Overall a good cookbook.

Simple is better!

This book is beautifully structured. The first part gives an overview of the Mediterranean diet. In the middle, there are a lot of interesting recipes that I can't wait to try. But the added value of this book is chapters 4 and 5: The Mediterranean Diet and The Mind-Body Connection of a Healthy Diet and more. I have found very high-value content that pays off the purchase made. Super recommended!

Great Mediterranean food prep introduction


I've been hearing a lot about "Mediterranean Diet" this and "Mediterranean Diet" that, but I never actually knew what comprised the diet. I had my guesses - pasta, olive oil, and lots of fresh fish - but I didn't have any idea if this was accurate or not!

E.A. Rios's "For Beginners" book helped introduce the diet in quick, easy-to-read chapters. He talks about the benefits of the diet, what sorts of food should be eaten and how to get started. There's also a section of 21-day challenge to a healthier heart that guarantees to lower your risk of heart attacks and strokes and fights off high blood pressure, as well as type 2 diabetes that I think will be very useful for initially jumpstarting the diet and training yourself/your family on what you can eat, but after a few weeks I'm sure supplementary cookbooks will be needed for those who are serious about changing their food habits.

If, like me, you're just curious about the diet and not necessarily looking to completely change your life, this is a great book for picking up the basics and getting some new ideas for the dinner table.

Easy, tasty way to get into the Mediterranean Diet

I love this crash course on Mediterranean eating. It's opened up a wide door for me to learn more and I'm cooking more and more in this way. I feel so much better.
