I always look forward to Lilian Monroe books because they’re well written, interesting and unputdownable. Her heroes are real men (faults and all) and her heroines are sassy, classy and likeable. This story (Book 2 in the Marswood series) is one is one of her best and that’s saying something because she sets the bar high. I listened to it on Audible and read it in Kindle- yes both because sometimes my husband expects me to communicate with him and I can’t do that with earbuds - well not politely.
Although, I admit to taking my time with this one …it’s so good I didn’t want it to end! I also want to give a super, special SHOUT OUT TO WEN & KAI who narrated this so perfectly. I listen to a lot of audiobooks and can honestly say that their narration was some of the very best I’ve listened to.
There is so much to the story; slow burn, scorching hot connections and laugh out loud funny bits.
Highly recommended…I can’t wait for book 3 in this series!
