Summary

Is Raistlin truly dead?

The answer lies in the new Dragonlance novella by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, which gazes into the future of Caramon and his mage-son, and into the dark nether-past of Raistlin.

Untold tales of Krynn.

Tales of sea monsters, dark elves, ice bears, hideous hydra-headed serpents, and loathsome draconian troops.

Further adventures of the kender Tas; the innkeepr Otic and young Tika; the dwarf Flint and Tanis, leader of the companions; Caramon and Raistlin, twin brothers, one, a genial warrior, the other, a sickly magician and scholar.

Nine short stories by superlative writers, plus an exciting new novella by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman.

The Dragonlance Saga goes on!

Possibly the worst narrator ever

I have been a fan of the works of Weis and Hickman for 30 years. This is the first audiobook of their work (even though in this case they were the editors) I have listened to. I am sure the stories are very good however the narrator is abysmal, his droning tones prevented me getting beyond the first 2 minutes.

The narration is sooooo bad!

So disappointing - I grew up with the various Krynn books and was excited to revisit this with an audiobook. I just had to stop listening - it’s just so bad !!

Krynn deserves better!!

Awfully performed

The reader’s singsong overly emphatic voice is extremely annoying. I went through all the short stories but I managed to finish only few of them, the rest I had to skip after few minutes of listening as the voice was getting on my nerves.

A great read!

Would you consider the audio edition of The Magic of Krynn to be better than the print version?

A bunch of good stories, rangeing from homerous to very serious. The Narrator is one of the best i have heard so far, he makes the characters come alive.
