About this listen

#1 New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Nora Roberts enchants again with this beloved classic about the passionate and headstrong MacGregor family.

Daniel MacGregor is at it again.

At age ninety, there is nothing the powerful patriarch of the MacGregor clan would like more than to see his three eldest granddaughters happily married. So Daniel MacGregor has handpicked three unsuspecting candidates he believes would make perfect husbands. But this might be his biggest matchmaking challenge yet; his granddaughters are so focused on their careers that marriage is the last thing on their minds. It's a good thing Daniel has a few tricks left up his sleeve....

I loved Laura and Royce’s book. Both head strong and very compatible. No complaints about them but I disliked Gwen’s story not because of her but her live interest. I detest when the male lead tries to force the woman to confess her feelings for him or to move faster than she’s ready for. The guilt trip and emotional manipulation just pisses me of. Julia’s story was better, like enemies to lover and the bit at the end where they’re both trying to get each other to admit their feelings was a love/hate thing for me. I just prefer when the male lead does the confessing so I’m biased. Overall I liked the girls, Laura mostly.
