Summary

The small town of White Oak Lake, Louisiana, is home to a group of colorful characters, three of whom take their Cupid duties seriously. Their pet project is Jaclyn Wyatt, a single mother who, in their opinion, needs a little help in the romance department. Jaclyn doesn't agree, but the trio secretly springs into action when a newcomer arrives.

Morgan Chassion retreated to White Oak Lake to mentally and emotionally recover from losing her father, being dumped by her girlfriend, and the final insult, losing her job. The past few months have not been kind and solace is what she needs, but complication is what she gets.

Love's potion is being brewed in White Oak Lake. The recipe is simple, two lonely hearts, a little time, and a dash of vulnerability. Add a little heat and the potion is complete.

Contains mature themes.

Very Entertaining!

Robin Alexander writes funny, sweet romances, and I am hooked. Pair that with Lori Prince as narrator and you have a winner.
Morgan, a transplant from Atlanta comes to The sleepy, quirky town of White Oak, LA. She has come to heal from three back-to-back losses: her job, her girlfriend, and passing of her father. Day 2 she meets the quirky, thoughtful, and helpful neighbors, who immediately clear debris from her rustic cabin to make it livable. And of course she meets Jacqueline, the owner of The Lure (Bait shop). Their adventure is sweet and honest. Surrounded by the crazy cast of characters, all of whom want Morgan and Jacqueline to be together, it is a funny adventure for Morgan to realize she has found her perfect place. I definitely recommend!

I want to move to White Oak Lake!

I loved this book - it was hilarious! Just three hours into it, I was ready to write a review; and now that I'm at the end, I encourage you even more to listen to this book. The writing and narration were both excellent!

😍 😍

I absolutely loved everything about this book. It was funny, touching and almost no angst!!! The characters made me want to move down south. I live in Louisiana, and yes there are plenty of helpful, kind and a few oddballs people here. This is one of my top 10 ten books.
As usual Lori Prince does a fabulous job, ESPECIALLY with the Cajun accents. 👏👏👏
