Summary

I stumbled across the author by accident, and am really pleased I did. The story is fast paced and has multiple layers. It introduces a lot of characters quite quickly and needs full attention. However these characters are interesting and involving. It's a hard to stop listening as you are pulled into this excellent thriller, and to to add to this you have wonderful narration from the brilliant Simon Mattacks.

I really enjoyed this. It is well written, with richly drawn characters, suspense and appropriate twists (rather than seeming contrived). It cries out for a sequel. I expect there will be one.

a lot of twists and turns. I enjoyed the book the whole way through. the fourth novel I've listened to from Mark Edwards....they've all been well narrated with suspenseful plots
