As we expect from this author and performer, the novel is well written and very well performed. But I find these wealthy characters somewhat smug; so, not to my taste.

A lovely listen, very Harper Bliss ! AC does a really good job with the narration, her familiar character voices are on full display and work well.

I enjoyed this story at least partially for the fact the main characters are 50’ish and 65 and because everyone can’t eat chocolate cake and pizza without consequences. Otherwise, the story itself and narration are excellent.

The characters in this book and how Harper layers them, is truly brilliant. Two completely different women but both equally as formidable. Loved Mimi’s character! Another brilliant book from a brilliant author. Can’t recommend Harper’s writing enough.

really great story line of a woman actor who gradually falls in love with the executive director of the TV show, really great characters all the way through and really brilliant narration with a happy ending as well thanks.
