Summary

A gun. A mission. No memories. Nameless is back to hunt down an architect of chaos in #1 New York Times bestselling author Dean Koontz’s return to a landscape of hard-won justice.

In a forgotten Cold War bunker, a cold-blooded arms dealer counts his cash and watches from a distance as cities collapse into violence. Pledged to stop him is a man without a past, guided by a teenage boy through the tunnels under the corrupted port city. With each stealthy move toward their target, the path ahead grows ever darker.

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Dean Koontz comes The Lost Soul of the City, part 1 of Season 2 of Nameless, a gripping collection of stories about a man in search of the truth, the past, and those who owe a debt of blood. Follow him through each story, which can be read or listened to in a single sitting.

Fascinating take on punishment

Koontz's Nameless character has a knack for making someone Nameless become quite memorable. Good take on crime and ultimate punishment

great performance

Once again we get a great story and narration. Mr Koontz has brought us a story that keeps us listening to see what Nameless is going to do to the bad guys.

Great character, glad to hear more about him.

since starting Audible, I've come to enjoy short stories more than ever before. Short series, like these are even better.

I really enjoyed the first series and was disappointed when they ended.

So far this one suggests the second release is going to be just a good.

Least favorite so far

Dean Koontz is my favorite author, however this has been my least favorite story of this series so far. I felt as if I was listening to nothing but filler. I struggled to get through the first seven chapters and then just stopped it. The narrator does a great job as with all the others, the story was just not for me. I seriously hope the coming chapters do not seem as tedious to me.

Fun little thrill ride

An easy to get through little adventure. Wasn't sure if Nameless was a good guy or not at the begin and still kinda think he is more of an anti hero. Will probably give these shorts another try and see what else happens

I love the Nameless series

This season has already started fabulously. I try to not listen all at once, it's hard. I have been a Dean Koontz fan for at least 30 years.

Worst read of the year

The story line was simply violence and gore. Mans inhumanity to man. I finally had to call it quits before the end. Didn’t follow a story line very well.
