I really enjoyed this one. Especially the characters finding a way to move on, and new meaning. The narration isn't the best fitting. Many characters sounded a bit weird and stuffy. But ok.

I love these stories.
There is a sense that although these are tales of a fantasy future the epic scale and multiple aliens cannot hide the underlying core of military brotherhood and overall humanity that flows through all of the stories in this universe.
The action is awesome and relationships are completely believable.

liked the way the characters developed, how their actions influenced the consequences of their lives. That not all change is bad, it depends on the point of view you take.
